Ypsi Pride was co-founded in 2016 by two Michigan-based queer artists through the establishment of First Fridays Ypsilanti (FFY) in 2013. It has now grown to an event that serves nearly ten-thousand people in Southeast Michigan. Ypsi Pride’s mission is to bring awareness and visibility through education and celebration of diversity to our community. Our vision is to create a welcoming and accepting community that exists to empower all LGBTQIA+ individuals.
