First Friday Storytime at YDL!
“Join YDL staff for an all ages storytime to kickoff your evening at First Fridays Ypsilanti. Each month we will do a storytime, an art experience, and music and movement in the Library Plaza. In case of severe weather we will have our event in the Youth Area of the Michigan Avenue branch.

Luna Lux will be in house offering Tarot reads for those who come by. Sign up day of, and see what lies in your future told by Luna who has been reading and studying the tarot for nineteen years. It’s her passion to provide earnest, affordable counsel to people from all walks of life. She especially enjoys reading for first-timers who have never received a divinatory service, and can guide you into the mystery of the tarot clearly and compassionately. Wyrd Movie Night
Join us for our April installment of Wyrd Movie Night as we watch Mandy (2018), starring Nicolas Cage. A film heralded by Slash Film as “A primal, psychedelic rage-scream of a movie.” We close at 8 pm, move things around to make space, and set out chairs. Film begins at 8:15 pm and should end around 10:15 pm. Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks! Space and chairs are limited. You’re welcome to bring a chair in case we run out.
